We proudly continue our academic traditions of fostering critical thinking, offering few spaces controlled by tradition whilst much academic innovation has happened within the walls of the Centre. All You Can Learn
World-class Faculty of Law courses in: Basic legal education in U.S. human rights, constitutional law and civil procedure, the first year: Civil procedure, contracts, torts, property and agency. Lower division courses, second year: Civil litigation, civil rights, the death penalty, criminal law, family law. Upper division courses: Civil rights law and constitutional law, consumer protection, policing and race, intellectual property, political asylum. Area and targeted concentration programs: International law, gender and sexuality law, comparative constitutionalism. Expert faculty: Board of Trustees and Faculty of Law members are nationally known law professors and lawyers with distinguished records of research and humanitarian work in their area of expertise. Intensive curriculum: Developed in the Faculty of Law administration and reviewed in consultation with area high schools, community colleges, universities, bar associations, legal services organizations and legal aid. Application and lobbying: Learn to teach and work with politicians and legal advocates to create progressive law in your community and across the United States. Internships: Guidance on local job searches, state bar applications, and bar exam preparation to help our students pass the MPRE and state bar exams and find work after graduation. Clinical and doctoral research: Write articles for law reviews, and other publications and media, hears cases as law interns in local legal aid, public defender and civil litigation offices. Doctor of Theology in law or social security law (T.D. or D.T.L, J.S.D. or post-JD Ph.D): Continue work in litigation or classroom roles. Program tracks: Area or targeted concentration, upper or lower division and any program sequences. Networking and Dissemination: Speak and teach throughout the community about courses to replicate model programs. Consider an audit on any of our classes.

Meet Our Esteemed Faculty: Leaders in Constitutional and Human Rights Law
The CHR Faculty of Law Legal Center for Constitutionalism and Human Rights seeks to advance democratic constitutionalism, human rights, the rule-of-law, sustainable development under international law, and political and legal pluralism. As our efforts continue, we are proud to present our expert legal faculty members.
Our faculty members have taught U.S. and/or international law around the world at distinguished institutions. They routinely publish papers in leading law journals and other public forums, while also participating in prominent professional conferences. They make significant contributions to Bar Associations and Academies, while assisting in law reform initiatives. Many of our faculty members write or have contributed to noted apex court and international human rights decisions. They regularly teach and conduct research at our partner campus in Paris, as well as with the King Mohammad VI School of Law in Morocco to promote legal education among lawyers and judiciary.
As an elite body of experts in their respective fields, the CHR Faculty of Law Legal Center for Constitutionalism and Human Rights members come from top-tier law schools in the United States, the European Union and the Middle East, such as Harvard Law School, Maryland Carey Law, Eliot-Pearson College of Diplomacy, Yale Law School, Utrecht Law School, and the University of Cairo School of Law. Our professors’ professional experience includes practicing law at leading international law firms and intergovernmental organizations, serving as domestic delegated judges in their home countries, or as law professors fixed-term at prestigious academic institutions in Sierra Leone and the European Union.
