Workshop on the Course: Human Rights in the European Constitutional Order

Writer: CHRCHR

On Tuesday, October 22, 2024, a workshop was held at the Faculty of Law, Charles University, as part of the course Human Rights in the European Constitutional Order: Jean Monnet Module. Students from the Faculty of Law presented fascinating contributions: Georgia Hejduková discussed the theme, “The European Project Was Always About Human Rights”, Sára Eva Rujbr focused on “Internal Mechanisms of the EU in the Area of Protecting LGBTQ+ Rights” and Václav Lipš and Marek Švajda presented “A Delicate Balance: How to Solve Conflicts Between Individualistic and Communitarian Dignity”.

After each presentation, a discussion took place, proving to be both inspiring and enriching, as was the concluding debate. We would like to thank all presenters for their excellent contributions and the participants for their active involvement. We look forward to our next meeting! 💙
