O události

Dear readers,

We would like to invite you to a conference on the topic "Constitutional Environment of State of Emergency in the Light of the Experience of Covid-19 Pandemic". The time interval since the pandemic has allowed us to reflect on a number of constitutional and human rights issues and themes that have been associated with the legal response mechanism to the Covid-19 pandemic. These include, in particular, the questions of whether constitutional and statutory changes to the mechanisms of regulation were appropriate from the perspective of constitutional principles of the rule of law, whether the restrictions on fundamental rights were justified (esp. The Commission's report on the European Parliament's role in the management of the pandemic was also relevant to the question of whether and how the experience of pandemic management justifies changes in emergency legislation. These and related questions will be addressed by a number of leading figures in domestic and international science.
